Showa Tooling Micron Mold Chuck is a complete range of Precise Tool Holders and Accessories. These world class mechanical chucks have higher level of accuracy than any other available hydraulically operated chucks.
Micron Mold Chucks provide excellent accuracy, 3 microns at the chuck nose and 5 microns at 3xD. They feature an extended nose design that allows for deep milling and drilling in hard to reach mold and die block cavities.
The Micron Mold Chucks provide rigidity and concentricity equal to a shrink-fit toolholder without the cost of induction equipment. Available in Through-coolant styles Form A or B, and in Gauge lengths of 150 mm and 200 mm, for standard metric tool shank sizes from 3mm to 12mm.
Showa Tool Holders are coupled with the inherent rigidity and great clamping power, all of which will help to improve tool-life, surface finish, dimensional accuracies and productivity of your machine.
The accurate taper contact of these holders ensures their accuracy and thus reduce damage to the spindle.
Highly precise holders of Showa can give you runout within 1 micron at chuck nose and 2 micron at 3xD.
