With the M040 micro-adjustable Boring head, slide adjustment is still recorded directly by means of an electronic measurement system.

The measurement result is evaluated by a microprocessor and displayed on an LCD display with a resolution of 1 micron. This reduces errors in adjustment and read-off to a minimum.
