Following requests, Astonlee are resuming business training with a new course called “Lifting the lid of Purchasing”
This course will be delivered with our new presenter ‘Noeline Buxton’, who is a MCIPS qualified Procurement Professional. Her career has covered working in companies such as: FKI, Brush Electrical Machines, NEI International Combustion, Scomark Engineering, GEC Gas Turbines, Fletcher & Stewart, and Rolls-Royce.
The training is based around a graduate's introduction to purchasing on how buyers are trained to give them the skills’ to combat our sales training. The Tools in question originate from the Automotive Industry. The overall objective of the course is to improve the understanding and communication between sales & purchasing.
As an experienced sales professional, the insight I gained from Noeline was a real revelation to me, and I quickly realised how little we really understood about the other side’s negotiating skills and tactics. Especially these days, when business is tight, manufacturing cost are rising, and the resultant price increases are becoming ever more a fact of life!
