Circular Milling Cutters

Addison Saws Ltd have been at the forefront of metal sawing machines technology since 1956.

These cutters are regularly produced in diameters 5.00 mm to 200 mm, and generally of thicknesses from 0.2 mm to 6.0 mm, but can also be produced up to thicknesses of 20 or 30 mm with absolute guarantee of perfect verticalness between the outside walls and the hole centre line.

The minimum thickness that can be realized increases with diameter. The various tooth types, FINE, LARGE, EXTRA FINE, SPIRAL, INCLINED AND ALTERNATED, standardized to ISO/DIN tables or by specific customer request, can be combined with various tooth shapes according to the material being worked and the conditions of use.

The outer walls can be parallel, lowered to the hole or with a central body the same thickness as the outside. Seats for keys or drawing holes are supplied by request. Requests for pieces with very narrow tolerances are accepted.

The two quality lines based on the material used include: -

STANDARD CUTTERS: made with readily available tungsten carbide and supplied in relatively short times.

HIGH-TECH CUTTERS: made with much higher quality material, for particular production requirements. The most suitable coating can be applied, depending on the use and according to the material being worked. The Standardized Tables are supplied on request.
