SLOTTING TOOL for motorised turret

The new slotting tools are available in two different versions (with 35 or 65 mm stroke) with maximum slot capacity of 12 or 16 mm. 

Through a rigid slide box, the rotation taken from the live tooling drive of the turret is transformed into a stroke cycle every rotation (ratio 1:1).

The slotting tool can be use in all radial turrets shown in the image above and in some frontal turrets.

EXAMPLE OF SLOT MACHINING:

• L = 5 mm depth 3,5 mm
• MATERIAL STEEL 38NCD4 HARDENED AND TEMPERED
• Rotational speed (slide feed) n = 450 rpm
• Feed F = 30 mm/min
• Feed ea. round A = 0,05 mm/round
• EXECUTION TIME FOR EACH SLOT T = 6,6 sec
