Ariel MC-304 Vertical Machining Centre has machining capacity of X=7500mm and Y (clamping width) =650mm, and is ideal for working a wide range of general extrusions including curtain walling and commercial window profiles. Available in 3 and 4 axis versions and is fully upgradeable, with many choices from the standard base configuration which offers manual positioned vices and automatic tool magazine.
FEATURES:
- The base structure is made up of structural tubular pieces and electro-welded sheets
- The base is designed to convey the machining scraps toward the centre.
- These can be collected in suitable and manually extractable tanks.
- As alternative, a motor-driven conveyor with rubber belt can be installed, to eject the scraps outside the base.
- The X or longitudinal axis, the Y or transversal axis and the Z or vertical axis belong to the tool movement. They can be interpolated in linear and circular way on 2-dimension geometrical planes, belonging to X-Y-Z.
- Hinging length stop are pneumatically operated
- The piece being machined is kept in its position by means of pneumatically-controlled vices.
- The vice structure is installed on ball recirculating slides and moves on a profiled slideway.
- As standard outfit, eight (no. 8) vices have been envisaged
- The working table ( X axis ) can be divided in two areas so to get two separate working stations.
- The electrospindle is suitable for machining light materials, in particular aluminum, wood, PVC and steel. It is suitable for quick tools change
- The tool magazine is placed on the mobile upright, in a suitable protected compartment; thus reducing significantly the change time
- Up to 12 types of different tools can be physically seated.
- The tools cooling is done through a centralised system that optimises the required minimal lubrication.
- All slideways and ball recirculation screws are lubricated through an automatic centralised system.
- Designed in accordance with the EEC rules
