The “SuperLock” locking unit is part of an automatic HSK toolholder clamping system.

It serves the purpose of transferring traction to the HSK clamping set and the subsequent self-locking detent and maintaining the clamping force.

This makes the HSK clamping system much more compact and space-saving than conventional HSK systems with spring tension - and yet with top balancing quality, extremely high static and dynamic rigidity and reliably secure clamping.

The advantages of the springless clamp with the Super-Lock locking system at its core are obvious.

Super-Lock is compact and requires little installation space. As a result the locking unit can be space-savingly installed in extremely short spindles.

In addition, Super-Lock has maximum repeatable balancing quality and is suitable for use at maximum speeds. Furthermore, Super-Lock locks with maximum rigidity and in combination with the Röhm HSK clamping set is predestined for heavy roughing.
