The SHRINK-MASTER HL-2 is a modular high-performance shrink-fit workstation for quick tool change, it can be used for solid carbide and HSS tools.
Due to its modular construction, the SHRINK-MASTER HL-2 can be upgraded with different cooling devices.
The SHRINK-MASTER HL-2 permits the fast shrinking and un-shrinking of solid carbide and HSS tools with a shank diameter from 3 to 32 mm and an h6 or h5 shank tolerance.
The powerful 13 kW inductor coil is fixed to a stable column which offers a clearance of 550 mm: This allows the shrinking and un-shrinking of even extremely long tools or chucks without any problem.
Further, the inductor coil can be detached from the column in a second, and can then be used as a hand-held coil without any limit to clearance.Due to its modular construction, the work station can be upgraded with
an adjustable high-performance inductor coil. This coil will automatically adjust the power input to each individual diameter and concentrate the heating on the appropriate portion of the holder, in order to achieve a gentle heating of the clamping range of the shrink-fit t chucks.
In shrinking and un-shrinking with the adjustable high-performance inductor coil, the tool to be changed itself is hardly heated at all. In addition, tool change times are considerably reduced.
