The adjustable twin cutter roughing tools are a modular design for the 400 to 2000 mm diameter range.

Twin cutter roughing tools provide a modular tooling system based on the ABS system for roughing and for fine boring.

The principal features are:

• Up to 2000 mm diameter with only one ABS-N100 connection
• Complete range can be covered with a small selection of elements, such as spindle adaptor flange, basic body, adaptor flange and cutter head
• High rigidity with large surface contact area
• High cutting performance; adjusting pins and key slots between adaptor and tool transfer high torques
• Accuracy of tooling system means that a micro-adjustable seating can also be used
• Economic cutting with modular design system for tooling components
