Midland Metrology Ltd formed in 1987 to provide a "Total Service to Industry" is located in the heart of England.
We offer a wide range of hardness testers for a variety of applications.
Hardness testers can be supplied new and reconditioned.
We cover the complete range of hardness testers including:
- Rockwell
- Brinell
- Vickers and Micro-Vickers.
All hardness testers come complete with a warranty and calibration is available on-site
Brinell hardness testing gives the largest indentation of all the hardness tests and is able to reflect the full feature of the material being tested. The test is unaffected by the unevenness of the material and is hence an accurate test of hardness.
Brinell hardness testing is used commonly in metallurgy, forging, casting, untempered steel and in the non-ferrous metals industry
Rockwell hardness testing is suitable for measuring the hardness of ferrous, non-ferrous metals and plastic materials. It is commonly used in factories, scientific research institutes and college laboratories.
Micro-Vickers hardness testers can measure the hardness of ferrous, non-ferrous metals, thin sections ICs, coatings, ply-materials, glass, ceramics, agate, and precious stones.
