Since its launch in 2004, KR Saws Ltd has rapidly become a leading player in the UK metal cutting saw blade industry.

One of their partners is Robert Röntgen GmbH & Co. was founded in 1899 by Robert Röntgen in Remscheid, the center of the German tool industry.

RÖNTGEN M42 bimetal bandsaw blades are based on fatigue resistant high alloy steel backing with around 4% chromium content. This formulation ensures that the blade can withstand the severe mechanical stresses exerted by modern high production rate band saw machines.

The backing strip has an electron beam welded tool setting, hardening and tempering operations ensure that the finished product will provide straight, burr free, long life cutting performance.

The bimetal range is available with either M42, MS1 or Matrix 2 tips alloys.This gives the user choice of high hardness and wear resistance or high toughness and impact resistance.

The comprehensive range of tooth pitches in both variable and regular form together with a choice of cutting face angles makes it possible to tailor the product to the customer's exact needs.
