Overview

The AMEC range of 'AccuThread' thread mills provide a fast and precise solution for high speed internal thread milling applications, including both solid carbide and indexable inserts covering a range of metric ISO, British Standard (BS) and other widely used parallel and taper thread forms.

Both the solid and indexable insert ranges are designed to allow full form profiles to be achieved to the full thread depth which also enables threading to within one full pitch for blind holes and bores. Also, the cutting geometry of the thread mills is optimised to reduce machine power requirements during thread cutting operations.
